Our Boreal Original Salmon diet is a grain-free dog food using salmon as a new source of unique protein. Our Original Salmon diet uses fresh meat and meat meal as sources of protein. We use Atlantic salmon caught as well as Atlantic salmon raised on Canadian farms. It is a daily diet that can be used to maintain the weight of your dog and can also be used as a hypoallergenic preparation. We use a base of beans and peas to replace the grains found in many dog ??foods, and we also add many beneficial herbs and fruits including blueberries and cranberries, thereby improving the taste of food as well add antioxidants with several health benefits. Our Boréal Dog Foods use Availa®Pet – a special collection of minerals bound to amino acids to make the minerals ‘bio-available’. The organic zinc in Availa®Pet easily absorbed and is many times more available to a dog than other zinc sources. Zinc is essential for healthy skin & coat.

This food is designed to be supplied to dogs during all stages of their life.   Feed your dog according to the daily feeding guidelines. The food requirements are averages and may vary according to age, activity level and environment. Amount of food should be adjusted accordingly. Fresh water should always be available. NOTE: Pregnant dogs may require 2-3 times more than the adult amount. Nursing dogs may require 2-4 times the adult amount. Feed as much food as required to maintain the pregnant, nursing dog’s ideal body condition.
