Product Information:

Anti Struvit – reduces the risk of recurrence of struvite. Struvite crystals and stones are a common occurring problem for cats. Struvite may lead to irritation and inflammation of the urinary tract, through to a blockage of the urethra. Dr.Clauder ‘s Anti-Struvite Diet was specifically designed to prevent struvite stones and their emergence. The solubility of struvite and dissolution of struvite stones is encouraged through the envisaged acidic pH of the urine. Particular nutritional purpose: Reducing the risk of recurrence of struvite. Essential nutritional characteristics: Urine acidifying properties, with low magnesium content. -ph control -struvite stone control -odour control.

It is recommended to seek the advice of a veterinarian prior to feeding or extending the recommended duration. To dissolve struvite stones an application period of 5-12 weeks is recommended. To prevent the recurrence of struvite stones, the diet should be administered for up to 6 months. Depending on the diagnosis and progression of the disease, duration of use should be discussed with your veterinarian.
