COMPOSITION:

Contains per ml:
Procaine penicillin G 100,000  IU
Benzathine penicillin G 100,000  IU
Dihydrostreptomycin sulphate 200  mg

DESCRIPTION:

Procaine penicillin G’s fast action is enhanced with the long-acting properties of benzathine penicillin G, which is active during 5 days. The spectrum of activity is widened by the dihydrostreptomycin sulphate.

INDICATIONS:

Procilline LA Inj. is indicated for treatment of infections caused by bacteria sensitive to the antibiotics combination present in Procilline LA Inj. in cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, dogs and cats. In cattle, Procilline LA Inj. is indicated for the treatment of pneumonic pasteurellosis, septicaemia, metritis, leptospirosis and reticulo-peritonitis. In swine, Procilline LA Inj. is indicated for the treatment of septicaemia, MMA syndrome, erysipelas and leptospirosis. In sheep and goats, Procilline LA Inj. is indicated to treat arthritis and septicaemia.

CONTRA-INDICATIONS:

Do not administer to animals hypersensitive to penicillin or procaïne. Do not administer to animals under anaesthesia. Do not administer to animals with an impaired  kidney function.

SIDE EFFECTS:

None.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:

For intramuscular injection only.

• General dose : 1 ml per 10 kg bodyweight.

Repeat after 72 hours.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:

Edible tissues : 30 days
Milk : 5 days

Store in a dry, dark place between 2 °C and 15 °C.
