The chart below shows the cups of Black Gold Explorer Mature 7+ Formula Dog Food that is required daily to maintain condition and to support a normal level of activity in adult dogs of varying sizes.

*Amounts are based on a standard measuring cup. A cup will hold about 3½ ounces of Black Gold Explorer Mature 7+ Formula Dog Food.
**For larger dogs, feed an additional 1/2 cup per day for each 10 lbs. of additional body weight over 80 lbs.
Feeding Guidelines
The daily amount of food that active senior dogs need is influenced by the environmental temperature, and their activity, size and breed. The amount fed should be adjusted according to the dog’s appetite and body condition. Extremely active or hard-working dogs may require and consume 1 1/2 to 3 times the amount of food indicated for their weight on the chart. Once per day feeding is adequate for adult dogs.
Provide plenty of fresh, clean water in a clean container at all times.
Remember to thoroughly wash your hands after handling your dog’s food or feeding utensils.
